How to use Dynamic Art Studio

Paint on a high-resolution layered canvas with pressure-sensitive brushes, a color disc, and layer controls. Create artwork in your browser and optionally sync drafts to Google Drive.

Step-by-step

  1. From the home screen, create a new canvas, open a .json project or image from your computer, or open from Google Drive (synced draft or Drive file).
  2. Use brush, eraser, airbrush, smudge, clone, fill, line, rectangle, gradient, eyedropper, and selection tools from the scrollable tool rail. Adjust brush and tool options in the Properties panel.
  3. Add layers, pinch or scroll to zoom, and export PNG or save a project JSON. Use Alt+click to set clone source; Esc to deselect.

Common questions

Is Dynamic Art Studio free?
Yes. No VSWT account is required.
Does it support stylus pressure?
Yes on supported devices. Brush size and opacity respond to pointer pressure; mouse input uses a default pressure level.
Where are my artworks stored?
Recent artwork is stored in your browser via IndexedDB. When Google Drive is connected, the active draft also syncs to your Google app data folder; you can open .json projects or images from Drive files.
