How to use Live Vote

Host live polls for events and talent shows. Design options and voting rules in the Design tab, share a 6-character join code, and project results on the display page.

Step-by-step

  1. Sign in with Google, open the Design tab, and create a poll with at least two options.
  2. Configure rounds, dedup scope (one vote per poll, round, or option), and max selections per vote.
  3. Save, then Activate. Open voting when ready; share the vote link or display link with your audience.
  4. Voters use the Vote tab (or shared link) with the join code and their name — names are not shown on results.

Common questions

Do voters need a Google account?
No. Only poll hosts need to sign in with Google to create and manage polls.
How are duplicate votes prevented?
Voters enter a display name; a hash is stored server-side. Names are never shown on the tally. You choose whether dedup applies per poll, per round, or per option.
How many polls can I host at once?
Each Google account can have up to three draft or active polls at a time.
