How to use Config Editor

Manage multiple JSON config files with a split editor and tree navigator. Format, minify, validate, and sync drafts to Google Drive.

Step-by-step

1. Create or select a config from the sidebar.
2. Edit JSON in the source pane — the tree updates when syntax is valid.
3. Use Format or Minify from the Edit menu; export JSON or save to Drive.

Common questions

Is Config Editor free?

Yes. No VSWT account is required.

Does it support YAML?

Not yet — v1 focuses on JSON with tree navigation and validation.

Where are my configs stored?

By default in your browser. When Google Drive is connected, all named configs sync together.
